Hillery & Clinton have turned their foundation into a lucrative "slush fund,

Big labor funneled millions of dollars in dues money to the Clinton Foundation, according to a new report. 

The National Institute for Labor Relations Research (NILRR), a union watchdog group, traced at least $2 million in donations from multiple union organizations and affiliates. 

"U.S. Department of Labor's union financial disclosure reports reveal that Big Labor gave at least $2,034,500 in union general treasury funds to Clinton Foundations. Union treasuries are funded mostly by compulsory union dues or fees collected from workers who would be fired for refusing to pay," the NILRR report says. "As Mrs. Clinton became closer to her current run for president, donations amounts appear to have increased." 

The Clintons have turned their foundation into a lucrative "slush fund," according to one charity watchdog group, and have received hundreds of millions of dollars from notable businesses, media personalities, and political luminaries. The family has maintained that none of those donations influenced her decisions as secretary of state and that the money is strictly philanthropic.

However, unions did not necessarily agree about the apolitical nature of the donations, according to NILRR. 

"Some of these 'donations' are categorized by the unions as 'political' on their financial disclosure report" to the Labor Department, the report says. 

United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices, a national plumbers union, for example, poured in nearly $200,000 through two contributions in 2013; each of those donations was classified as a political activity.

President Obama's "CORRUPTION" DHS Admits Cooking The Books On Deportations

Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson acknowledged Tuesday that his department’s deportation numbers are now mostly made up of illegal immigrants caught at the border, not just those from the interior, which means they can’t be compared one-to-one with deportations under President Bush or other prior administrations.

The administration has argued it is tougher on illegal immigration than previous presidents, and immigrant-rights groups have excoriated President Obama, calling him the “deporter-in-chief” for having kicked out nearly 2 million immigrants during his five-year tenure.

But Republican critics have argued those deportation numbers are artificially inflated because more than half of those being deported were new arrivals, caught at the border by the U.S. Border Patrol. Previous administrations primarily counted only those caught in the interior of the U.S. by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

“Under the Obama administration, more than half of those removals that were attributed to ICE are actually a result of Border Patrol arrests that wouldn’t have been counted in prior administrations,” said Rep. John Culberson, Texas Republican.

“Correct,” Mr. Johnson confirmed.

That would mean that in a one-to-one comparison with the final years of the Bush administration, deportations of those same people under Mr. Obama had actually fallen, according to immigration analysts who have studied the data.

In 2013, ICE was responsible for about 133,000 of the 368,000 immigrants removed. The Washington Times calculated that meant a less than 1 percent risk of an illegal immigrant living in the interior of the U.S. being deported.

Mr. Johnson said they are prioritizing those they think deserve deportation. In the past, illegal immigrants from Mexico who had just illegally crossed the border would often times be returned, only to try again almost immediately. Now, many of them are put into full deportation proceedings.

“We are enforcing the law. We are enforcing the law vigorously and effectively, which results in the removal of over 300,000 people a year over the last several years,” Mr. Johnson said. “We are using the resources Congress gave us to remove those we believe are threats to national security, public safety and border security. And they result in the numbers that you see.”

Lawmakers on both sides of the aisle Tuesday pleaded with Mr. Johnson for more information on the status of immigration enforcement, saying it is tougher to pass a comprehensive immigration-reform bill.

That was a frequent complaint from Congress to Mr. Johnson’s predecessor, former DHS Secretary Janet A. Napolitano, who left the office last September.

Mr. Johnson has promised to be more responsive, saying he will answer lawmakers’ questions and try to get them information.

“Better information may not be the way to reach consensus on every question of border and immigration enforcement policy, but it would help us. It would elevate the discussion to one based on empirical evidence and agreed-upon data,” said Rep. David Price, North Carolina Democrat.

The Senate last year passed a broad immigration bill legalizing most illegal immigrants, boosting border security spending by tens of billions of dollars and rewriting the legal immigration system.

DHS tells American border guards to run away from illegal immigrants

Top administration officials have directed 21,000 border patrol officers to retreat whenever illegal immigrants throw rocks at them, and to avoid getting in front of foreign drug-smugglers’ vehicles as they head north with their drug shipments.

“Agents shall not discharge firearms in response to thrown or hurled projectiles… agents should obtain a tactical advantage in these situations, such as seeking cover or distancing themselves,” said the instructions, issued Mar. 7, under the signature of Michael Fisher, chief of U.S. Border Patrol.

Agents were also directed to keep their weapons holstered when drug smugglers drive by.

Agents can’t use guns against “a moving vehicle merely fleeing from agents,” say the instructions.

The new instructions do allow agents to use guns to defend themselves from vehicles that drive at them. “Agents shall not discharge their firearms at a moving vehicle unless the agent has a reasonable belief that… deadly force is being used against an agent,” the new instructions say.

However, the instructions also suggest that officers be penalized if they don’t step back. Agents “should not place themselves in the path of a motor vehicle or use their body to block a vehicles’s path,” according to new instructions.

The new curbs were praised by advocates for greater immigration, including Juanita Molina, director of the Border Action Network. New Jersey Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, and Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Menendez is one of the drafters of the June 2013 Senate immigration bill, which would boost the inflow of legal immigrants and guest workers up to 40 million over the next decade. During the same period, roughly 40 million Americans will turn 18.

House GOP set to target Obama admin on regulations, executive power

House Republicans are plotting a broad effort to push the Obama administration to rein in federal regulations and reform a key part of the health care law in a bid to curb what lawmakers see as abuse of executive power by an "imperial presidency."

House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, R-Va., on Friday sent a memo to GOP lawmakers accusing President Obama of "effectively rewriting the laws" and called for a fight to "restore the balance of power created by our Founders," The Hill reported.

"President Obama has provided new clarity as to what constitutes an imperial presidency," Cantor wrote Friday in the memo. "Declaring that he has a 'pen and a phone,' he has acted to effectively rewrite the laws of the United States." 

Cantor said several bills will be taken up next week in the House to push back against the administration's "excessive and burdensome" regulations, including a proposal that reforms the way federal agencies create new regulations, The Hill reported.

The Regulatory Accountability Act, introduced last year by Rep. Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., reforms the current federal rulemaking process to require that agencies write regulations that impose the lowest possible cost on businesses.

Cantor's memo also mentioned Rep. George Holding's, R-N.C., All Economic Regulations are Transparent (ALERT) Act, which would require federal agencies to provide timely information about the status and cost of new regulations under consideration, according to The Hill.

The Sunshine for Regulatory Decrees and Settlements Act, by Rep. Doug Collins, R-Ga., would curb the government's practice of settling lawsuits with liberal organizations by agreeing to impose regulations on businesses, the report said.

Cantor told House Republicans that the chamber could take up "in the near future" legislation that would target ObamaCare’s individual mandate and cuts to the Medicare Advantage program, The Washington Examiner reported.

He said House will consider a proposal that repeals the 30-hour threshold for full-time work as outlined in the health law's requirement for employers to provide health care coverage, raising the threshold to 40 hours, the report said. 

The House will also consider legislation with the goal of blocking "excessive and unnecessary" Environmental Protection Agency regulations on electric utility plants and coal-fired power plants, Cantor said. 

"This will prevent, for example, EPA from downplaying the loss of mining and manufacturing jobs as a result of their regulations by arguing that new jobs will be created in regulatory compliance," Cantor was quoted as saying.

The Obama administration, facing GOP resistance in both chambers of Congress, is reportedly mapping out plans for executive actions that will be unveiled well into the fall and winter for what the president has called a "year of action."

More than 100 Republican House members have signed on to the Stop This Overreaching President (STOP) Resolution, which accuses the president of violating his Article 2, Section 3 constitutional duty to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed."
